Alpine Gravel adventure

Big Alpine climbs, quiet gravel roads, and unforgettable mountain views.  Take on challenging rides by day, and relax in the heart of the  Alps by night.  A true gravel adventure at the centre of Alpine cycling!

A Taste of the Alps

Trade city traffic for the high Alps around Morzine, Champery and the Matterhorn, where quiet gravel roads, forest tracks and high mountain passes criss-cross the Portes du Soleil and Alpine passes.

This small-group gravel week is designed for strong recreational riders who enjoy big days out, sustained climbs and dramatic scenery. You’ll be based near Champery, riding carefully curated routes by day and unwinding in a lively Alpine town by night. I’ll set an inclusive pace, regrouping on climbs and at cafés so everyone gets the views, the photos and the full experience.

Across five ride days, you’ll explore a mix of alpine gravel, old military roads and long valley traverses, with routes ranging from steady 60-80 km days to bigger 100 km mountain epics. Expect plenty of climbing, rewarding descents and constant scenery shifts, from pine forests to open alpine meadows. Mid-week, we ease off slightly with a shorter ride or recovery option, giving you time to explore Morzine, refuel properly, or simply rest tired legs.

Transfers from/to Geneva are included at set times, with bike-box transfers available. On the trail, you’ll be supported with GPX routes, mechanical assistance and well-timed café stops. All meals are included while you’re on the ground, combining hearty Alpine cooking with relaxed post-ride dinners.

Bring a well-maintained gravel bike on 40–45 mm tyres (tubeless strongly encouraged) and pack layers for variable mountain weather. E-gravel is welcome; bike hire is available on request. Travel insurance is mandatory; please share your policy details before departure.

Most of all, arrive ready for big climbs, long descents and that unmistakable Alpine gravel feeling.
